Soak Up Some Culture This Summer At Local Art Galleries
There are many wonders to see and experience in the Zion area.
One of the more cultural examples of this local beauty is the fantastic collection of art galleries and fine art. Displaying a diverse collection of art from all mediums, these galleries are sure to catch your eye and your heart.
These galleries showcase original art from local and well-known artists in the form of paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, jewelry, pottery, and more.
The Arrowhead Gallery ETC
Located in the Electric Theater Center in St. George, this gallery is a nonprofit co-op of 25+ artists from the Southern Utah Art Guild. The gallery runs in partnership with the City of St. George to, “create a gallery to provide emerging artists a venue to display and sell their art in a professional setting.” The gallery is open from Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 6pm. ART Provides
This space is not just an art gallery. Among displays of local art, you can also find talks, meet-ups, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops at this venue. Some of their events include: Creative ART SPA, Open Mic Drop, Scribe Tribe, Mindfulness Groups, and more. You can find gallery hours and a full event calendar here.
ARTé Art Gallery and Framing
Displaying over 600 works of art for sale, this gallery showcases mostly paintings, photographs, and statues from various artists, including art created by the gallery owners. The gallery is located in St. George and is open from 10am – 5pm Monday through Friday, and 10am – 2pm on Saturday. More info
Illume Gallery of Fine Art
The Illume Gallery has recently combined with two other local galleries, Authentique and The Mission Gallery, to create one unified organization. They specialize in displaying and selling museum-quality works from national artists. More info
DeZion Gallery
You’ll find this gallery just outside of Zion National Park in Springdale. They feature local art, jewelry, and photography by both emerging and well-known artists inspired by the southwest and the Zion area. The gallery is open every day from 10am – Dark. More info
