Boating on Quail Creek State Park
There’s much more to Southern Utah than the Big Five National Parks. Natural beauty, rock formations, and rushing water are everywhere you look. One such place is Quail Creek State Park. Just 18 miles west of Zion River Resort on UT 9, Quail Creek State Park in nearby Hurricane offers boating and fishing on a massive reservoir.
Your dinner is swimming around beneath your boat. Cast your line into the 120 foot deep waters of Quail Creek Reservoir and reel in rainbow trout, bullhead catfish, and crappie. Largemouth bass and bluegill live in the warmer, upper layers of the reservoir.

The fee for all this fun is only $15 bucks per carload (up to 8 people) for Utah residents and $20 bucks per carload for out-of-staters. Dogs love Quail Creek too!
